Imogen Butler-Cole
Imogen trained at RADA and LISPA. Her acting credits include Robin in The Generation of Z (London); Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet and The Priestess in The Canterbury Tales (both directed by Thusitha Jayasundera); Zena in Doctrine (KunstenFestivalDesArtes, Brussels); Ophelia in The Secret Love Life of Ophelia (Mumbai); Ursula in Ursula (Mumbai); Mel in Blown (Plymouth Theatre Royal) and Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Creation Theatre).
For her theatre company The What Works she has directed devised multilingual productions of A Story and A Song; Dreamtime; PiNiK; Fora das Correntes and Much Ado About Nothing, as well as Dui Desher Golpo, a film exhibition about immigrant Bangladeshi women in London. She was casting director for the BBC World Service’s Bishaash in Dhaka, Bangladesh, produced The Tempest in Bangla for Shakespeare’s Globe’s Globe to Globe Festival and is Artist in Residence (Drama) at Mulberry School for Girls.
Through RADA Business and independently Imogen has trained business professionals in communication skills at the BBC, Chanel, Sony, EasyJet, Santander, Moorhouse, Durkan, PA Consulting, The Forgiveness Project, 39 Essex Street and Oxford and Dammam Universities. She has also taught at the Universities of Westminster, Loughborough, Jadavpur (Calcutta), Kalina (Mumbai) and Jahangirnagar (Dhaka) and at RADA.
