Lois Baxter
Lois has been a leading actor at the National Theatre where her productions include Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Love for Love, After the Fall and The Threepenny Opera. West End productions include The Fourth World and Café Potemkin for the Royal Court. She has appeared in over 50 major TV roles including Peer Gynt, The Wings of a Dove, The Black Stuff, Our Mutual Friend and Dickens of London.
Her most recent stage appearances were Amanda in The Glass Menagerie at the Royal Lyceum, Edinburgh and Lady Kitty Cheney in Somerset Maugham’s The Circle for the Oxford Stage Company.
Lois has been a member of the audition panel for RADA for the past twenty years. While performing at the National Theatre she trained in running workshops for actors. She has also been an assessor for the Lloyds Bank Challenge and BT Connections for the National.
She teaches Shakespeare workshops for the eight week RADA Acting Shakespeare course and directs for the New York University course at RADA, as well as at Hartt College, Connecticut and many other drama schools.
