Melanie Jessop

Melanie is an actor and teacher who has worked extensively in theatre and TV. Her theatre work includes West End, RSC, Shakespeare's Globe, Chichester, and many regional theatres and national and international touring companies.

She is an associate member of the Wrestling School, the international company of writer Howard Barker, playing in many productions in the UK and internationally and originating roles written for her by the author.

She has taught and directed at Webber Douglas, LAMDA, Shakespeare’s Globe and internationally. At RADA Melanie teaches 1st year Acting. She is a co-founder of Women@RADA, an initiative dedicated to supporting RADA’s female graduates in the development of their professional lives.
