Nancy Kettle
Nancy trained at DeMontfort University, Leicester and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She is a choreographer, movement director and teacher who works with performers of all ages, abilities and experience.
Nancy teaches actor movement in conservatoires across London including: RADA, RCSSD and ALRA, as well as teaching at the National Youth Theatre. She was invited in January 2017 as a guest speaker to the Guildford School of Acting to discuss her teaching practice with fellow movement teachers in higher education.
Nancy is also an Associate Artist of the Mercury Theatre in Colchester where she collaborates with actors, dancers and a creative team to make her own projects. As a freelance choreographer/movement director, her recent credits include: the film Breathe, The Events (Mercury Theatre), Ballroom (Waterloo East Theatre), I Capture the Castle, (Watford Palace Theatre, UK tour) Partner's in Crime (Queens Theatre), Macbeth (New Wimbledon Studio), Lotty's War (UK Tour), Our House: The Musical (Queen's Theatre), Romeo and Juliet (Mercury Theatre Young Company) and Macbeth (Southwark Playhouse).
Nancy's work focuses on enabling the performer to physically express emotions, inner landscapes and story to create a visceral, theatrical world.
