Miranda Wayland

Miranda Wayland is the newly appointed Head of Europe Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility for Prime Video and Amazon Studios. Her role will help drive Amazon’s strategic goals and ambitions, working closely with content creators, executives and the Prime Video teams to focus on ensuring greater inclusion, representation and accessibility as well as collaborating with industry partners and the wider sector for long-term industry change. With over 20 years’ experience of driving DEIA across both the private and public sector and prior to joining Amazon, Miranda was the Head of Diversity for the BBC, managing a team of DEI practitioners, the financial investment of £112m for Creative Diversity for content and overseeing the implementation of the corporation’s DEI strategy. Miranda is also a trustee of the National Film and Television School and the Anne Frank Trust.
