Reimagined for young audiences aged 8-12 by Jude Christian, graduate from RADA’s MA in Theatre Directing course, Hamlet will return to the Dorfman Theatre from 20 – 28 March 2023. This tragedy is performed as part of a tour to 5,000 students in state schools in six areas including Knowsley, Lincolnshire and Essex in order to introduce young audiences to the world of Shakespeare.

At the Lyttelton Theatre from 1 February – 8 April 2023, Acting graduate Janet McTeer will be performing in Phaedra and takes the title role. This play sees the title character move away from her focus in politics, and towards her personal life as buried lust and loneliness threaten to destroy all that she has created.

Acting graduate, Rosie Sheehy, has been cast in Romeo and Julie at the Dorfman Theatre from 14 February – 1 April 2023. A new play by Gary Owen and a co-production with Sherman Theatre, this work sees two Welsh characters grapple with first love at a crossroads in a world of unequal opportunity.
