We are delighted that Originate Actor training has been shortlisted for the Widening Access Partnership Award at this year’s NEON Awards.

Offered in collaboration with Theatre Peckham, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and RADA, Originate prepares young actors for Drama School and the industry via a free intensive nine-month programme.

NEON is an Higher Education charity specialising in widening access, of which Guildhall is a member, and this is a fantastic recognition for this project and the success of the partnership between RADA, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Theatre Peckham.

The NEON team informed us that ‘the competition was fierce this year, with over 70 applications received, but the achievements of your nominee truly stood out’.

We are particularly grateful to the team at Guildhall for writing the award submission. This is testament to the collaborative work over the last seven years and the wonderful successes that so many of the Originate alumni have gone on to achieve both at drama school and in the industry.
