Alison Cartledge

Alison Cartledge trained at Central School of Art and Design (CSM) in Theatre Design (BA Hons).

Throughout her freelance career as set and costume designer and supervisor, her professional work ranges from small-to-medium scale touring, repertory theatre and outdoor installations for companies including: York Theatre Royal, Nottingham Playhouse, Wolsey Theatre Ipswich, Talawa Theatre Company, The Half Moon, Covent Garden Festival, Ambassadors Theatre and the National Trust, as well as English Theatre Frankfurt, Intima Theatre Stockholm, UCLA Los Angeles and Summerscape Festival New York.

Her previous teaching for design includes CSM (UAL) Short Courses in Costume Design, RCSSD and GSA. She has been associated with RADA since 1992, designing for the public productions and teaching on the short courses.
