Anthony Arblaster
Anthony is a freelance lighting designer for theatre, opera and dance from Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country, Australia. He originally trained on the PgDip in Stage Electrics and Lighting Design at RADA. Earlier he completed a BA and an LLB from the Australian National University.
As lighting designer his recent theatre credits include: The Woods, Living Newspaper: Edition 3 (Royal Court); Unbecoming (Canberra Theatre Centre); Collapse (Canberra Theatre Centre), Shadows of Time (Marysas Trio); Town Hall Cherubs (Battersea Arts Centre). Opera credits include: Kettlehead, The Viagron, Training is the Opposite, and Women Conduct (Size Zero Opera).
As associate lighting designer for Ben Ormerod, credits include: Assassins (Watermill / Nottingham Playhouse); Woyzeck in Winter (Galway International Arts Festival / Barbican); Mrs Henderson Presents (West End / Toronto); The Libertine, In the Next Room (Bath / West End); The Knot, The Happiness Project (UK and International Tours); Der Fliegende Holländer, Tristan und Isolde, Der Ring des Nibelungen (Longborough Festival).
Anthony has worked as a lighting programmer on productions in the West End, UK, USA, Europe and Australia.
