Daniel Collins
Daniel started working in professional theatre in the early 1990s. After a flirtation with prop-making and set design, Daniel came to the realisation that scenic art was what he loved doing (and was best at).
Daniel has worked in theatres throughout the country from Pitlochry to Ipswich and his scenic work has taken him to such places as the United Arab Emirates, Vienna and three of the world’s six LEGOLANDs. He continues to explore his own painting and has recently attended courses run by the Slade School of Fine Art.
Although Daniel has been happy to work in other areas including film, TV, museums and amusement parks, he still finds working in live theatre the most rewarding. Daniel has been head of the scenic art courses at RADA since 2007 and continues to increase his knowledge of the craft.
