takis is an international performance designer whose innovative and diverse body of work encompasses West End and leading UK theatre, international musicals, opera, ballet, circus, fashion and commercial productions.

He has worked for companies including: Finnish National Opera, Frankfurt Opera House, Opera Holland Park, National Theatre, Old Vic, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Barbican, Sadler’s Wells, Rambert Dance Company, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Theatre Royal Brighton, Royal & Derngate, Theatre Royal Stratford East, Kuwait National Theatre, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, Haugesund Theater in Norway and the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus.

takis’s interactive performance installations have been exhibited at the Design Museum in London and Helsinki, and the Bucharest Modern Art Museum.

takis, Greek in origin, studied at the Romanian National University of the Arts in Bucharest (costume and set design), RADA (technical theatre arts), London College of Fashion (design methodologies) and Helsinki Aalto University (doctoral studies).
