We are seeking to appoint three lead tutors to teach on our BA Acting Course.

Salary: £48,000-£52,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the roles
These pivotal roles contribute to the collaborative environment RADA fosters across the Academy, and will work closely with the Technical Theatre Arts department and the MA Theatre Lab. The successful candidates will provide inspiring and supportive leadership to RADA’s team of specialist teachers, and inspiring and supportive teaching and learning environments for RADA’s BA Acting students. Working closely with the Director of Actor Training and the rest of the Lead Tutor team, they will plan and oversee the coordination and teaching of their specialist modules. As a teacher-practitioner, they will lead through the example of their own teaching practice, and by developing the curriculum at RADA to stay ahead of industry expectations. Curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and openness to innovation will underpin their practice and pedagogy.

The Lead Tutors will need a thorough working knowledge of 20th and 21st century techniques and practitioners in their field. They need to be experienced in teaching their specialism and have a systematic teaching practice taking students through 2 years of foundational training. Experience in Higher Education at a module co-ordinator level or above is essential.
