Workshops and Q&A sessions
Workshops
We work with our partner organisations to focus on a range of topics that have been developed to help young people with their creative and personal development. All workshops are run by RADA tutors and graduates.
Sessions are designed to give a taster, as well as deeper understanding of drama or technical theatre that can be transferred into other areas of their life.
Drama workshops include:
- Acting technique
- Classical text (with a focus on Shakespeare)
- Contemporary text
- Improvisation
- Movement (including Laban, animal studies and character)
- Devising
- Voice
Technical theatre workshops include:
- Sound
- Lighting
- Props
- Scenic art
- Make-up
- Wardrobe
- Stage management or Production management
Q&A sessions
We offer informal Q&A sessions led by recent RADA graduates. These sessions give young people an insight into drama school; applying, the admissions process, life at RADA and a career in theatre.
