Come From Away by Irene Sankoff and David Hein (book, music and lyrics)

26 May, 7.30pm, Post Show Q&A
28 May, 7.30pm Captioned Performance
My son sends me on this vacation. He says "Mom, you've never gone anywhere." When I get back, I'm telling him this is exactly why.
In the wake of the 9/11 attacks, 38 planes carrying nearly 7,000 passengers and crew from over 100 countries were grounded in a small town in Newfoundland. This celebrated musical tells the remarkable true story of how the local population fed, housed, clothed and welcomed their unexpected visitors.
With uplifting music and an inspiring spirit, witness how strangers became friends in this unforgettable celebration of humanity and resilience.
With special thanks to Charles Holloway OBE, Summer Season Supporter.
This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International. All authorised performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.co.uk
