Crossing
It’s the 15th day of the 7th lunar month. The gates between the realms are open, and grievant spirits have just an hour to fulfil their wishes.
Eight spirits find themselves in the intermediary, each with an unresolved matter of utmost importance: An unconventional shaman, a silenced dancer, a raging woman, a female portrait, a postpartum mama, a free diver, a lunar goddess, and a displaced migrant.
Worlds collide and intertwine as these eight fates navigate becoming, belonging and breaking through.
Devised from reflections on life on the margins, Crossing looks for comfort where we usually find none—between lines, limbs and lands..
