Home I'm Darling by Laura Wade

17 March, 7pm, Post show Q&A
20 March, 7pm, Captioned Performance
Uxoriousness. It means a surfeit of spousal affection. It isn’t at all the done thing for a man to be so keen on his own wife.
After taking voluntary redundancy from a high paying job, Judy has created a 1950's fantasy world with her husband, Johnny. She is the stay-at-home housewife whose life consists of looking after the house and her husband. For Judy, all seems so perfect, so much better than the real world of the 21st century. But inevitably, the truth about life in the 1950's for women becomes apparent whilst the realities and practicalities of the modern world begin to disrupt their lives.
