RADA Connect

RADA Connect is a free admissions support programme for BA (Hons) in Acting and Foundation Degree in Technical Theatre and Stage Management applicants. Through this programme we aim to support applicants currently underrepresented at RADA, in higher education and in the industry.

Young Technicians

This free introductory course gives 16-21 year olds the opportunity to develop skills in stage management, lighting and sound with industry professionals. Run in partnership with Theatre Royal Stratford East and Backstage Niche.

Originate Actor Training

A course for 17-23 year olds wanting to take their acting to the next level, and who are interested in future full-time drama school training. Run in partnership with Theatre Peckham, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Young & Talented.

The Next Stage

This course is designed to help young people decide if they want to pursue a career in theatre production. Students have the chance to find out more about the drama school application process, the industry and explore whether drama school is the right option for them.

Shakespeare for Young Audiences

90-minute Shakespeare plays touring to Greater London state schools at no cost to schools. Featuring students from our BA (Hons) in Acting and Foundation Degree in Technical Theatre & Stage Management.

Workshops

We work with targeted primary and secondary schools as well as further education colleges, and focus on schools that have a high proportion of students from under-represented groups. We also partner with local theatres across the UK to introduce and prepare young people for life at drama school.
