The Winter's Tale by William Shakespeare
90 minutes of fast-paced Shakespeare.
RADA presents Shakespeare for Young Audiences: abridged plays brought to life for young people (15+) as well as anyone, of any age, who wants to get swept up in a high energy Shakespeare production.
As insecure as Leontes is, he accuses his wife Hermione of infidelity with his mate Polixenes, and she dies. In his rage, Leontes threatens to burn his newborn daughter Perdita.
Luckily, Perdita was brought to a forest by Paulina and picked up by Shepherd who raised her for sixteen years. Disguised as a shepherd, Polixenes' son Florizel pursues Perdita and is condemned for courting a low-born shepherdess.
